2 Broke Girls is an American television sitcom that airs on CBS from September 19, 2011 to April 17, 2017. The series is produced for Warner Bros.. Television and created by Michael Patrick King and Whitney Cummings. Located in the neighborhood of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York City, this event plot follows the lives of Max Black (Kat Dennings) and Caroline Channing (Beth Behrs) friends. Synopsis
The series tells the lives of two waitresses in their mid-20s (at the start of the series): Max Black (Kat Dennings), son of a poor working-class mother and an unknown father, and Caroline Channing (Beth Behrs), born rich but is now humiliated and has no money because his father, Martin Channing, is caught running the Bernard Madoff-esque Ponzi scheme. Changes of timeslot
The first episode airs at 9:30 pm (E/P) after Two and Half Men on September 19th, 2011, and the event is moved to the regular timeslot following How I Meet Your Mother on Monday night at 8:30 pm (E/P). Production for the second season begins on August 6, 2012.
For the second season, 2 Broke Girls moved to 9:00 ET/PT after Two and Half Half moved to Thursday, and remained there until the beginning of their third season.
On March 27, 2013, CBS updated 2 Broke Girls for the third season. The event was first moved back to its original timeslot, which opened when We Are Men was canceled, and stayed there until March 24, 2014.
