Mattel, Inc. ( ) is an American multinational toy manufacturing company founded in 1945 with headquarters in El Segundo, California. His last day was on April 26, 2018. Ynon Kreiz is now Mattel's new CEO.

Mattel's name is portmanteau Harold "Matt" Matson and Elliot Handler, the company's founders.

Harold "Matt" Matson and Elliot Handler founded Mattel Creations in 1945. The company sells photo frames, and then dollhouse furniture.
