" UXD Hazards " are episodes of BBC's sitcom comedy, Only Stupid and Horse. It was the second episode of the 6th series and the first broadcast on January 15, 1989. In that episode, Del acquired a bunch of broken puppets, accidentally filled with explosives.

The episode title is a reference to the 1979 TV series Danger of UXB , where UXB stands for "unexploded bomb"; "UXD" thus shows "an unexploded doll." On December 21, 2006, a scene from this episode was voted number 4 on UKTV Gold Top 40 Greatest Only Fools Moments. The questionable scene is that when one of the puppets exploded by itself, which caused Del Boy, Rodney, and Uncle Albert to leave the room in panic.

Sinopsis

While continuing to follow the yuppy lifestyle, Del Boy encourages Rodney to join in the fun. Also, Del's latest items for whipping are video recorders from Ronnie Nelson and fresh tomatoes from Jersey.

At Nagy Head, Denzil tells Mike and Trotters that he brought his wife Corrine out for the evenings to celebrate their birthday, despite taking the wrong stock of 50 dolls from a shop in High Wycombe and having to take them back to the factory, intending to take them on Monday. However, there was a fire at the factory so Denzil could not bring them in, and had to submit a form to show that he returned the doll. Del forged a signature from the factory and bought the doll from Denzil.

Back in the flat, Trotters discovered that the dolls were an unlicensed sex doll called Lusty Linda and Erotic Estelle. Del suggested they bring the doll to a man named Dirty Barry, who owns a sex shop.

At a Chinese takeaway, Denzil oversees London Plus and finds that the doll is filled with propane gas, which will explode if exposed to heat, and is suspected to have caused the factory's destruction. Denzil zoomed out of the takeaway after paying, but did not claim his food.

That night, returning to the flat, after Del discovers that the video recorder has recorded the wrong program, Rodney informs Del that the machine is made only for use in mainland Europe and can not be used in the UK. Del admits that he's sold most of them! At that moment, two sex dolls from behind the cocktail bar expands. The Trotters went on to deflate the doll, but could not because of the wrong valve. Rodney advised them to blow them up but was told not to by Del. When Rodney dressed up for a date with Cassandra, Del got the idea of ​​how to get a doll into Dirty Barry.

Back at Nag's Head, Trigger complains about the "fresh Jersey" tomato, and Boycie turns out to be buying a broken video recorder. Denzil comes crashing down and tells them about the doll and how he has to deal with Del. Boycie and Mike chuckled awkwardly when he heard that Del had fifteen time bombs in his hand.

Outside of Nelson Mandela's House, Rodney and Del came out with two dolls wearing Joan's late mother's clothes. An old man made a mistake for a true woman and Del imitate the voice of a woman. The Trotters threw a doll to their van, and Rodney went to meet Cassandra, leaving Del and Albert to go to Kotor Barry. Del and Albert arrived at Kotor Barry's place, only to find out that he had been deprived of his permission by the council. With no other place to lower it, Del and Albert returned to the van to think of another way to get rid of the puppets. Del thought they had to stop them until the market took over.

At a restaurant, Cassandra warned Rodney about the unexploded sex dolls she'd heard on the news. Finally, Del and Rodney quickly picked up two inflated dolls and dumped them in the slums. The puppets exploded after the Trotter brothers became clear. Trotter brothers return to their van, only to find out that two other dolls are pumping. Del and Rodney escaped from the van and ran into the night.

Story arc

• In this episode it is revealed that Denzil has established a new company, Transworld Express. The company was mentioned in a number of later episodes, such as "Son of Mother Nature" and marked a permanent career change for the characters.
• Clayton Cooper's minor character will appear again in prequel 2010 Rock & amp; Chips as Reenie Turpin's girlfriend. He does not appear in "Five Gold Rings" or "The Frog and the Pussycat", though it is unknown whether he will be back in any of the four episodes that were not produced.
